Chester “Bobo” Barnett performed in the center ring. He drove out in a very tiny car and then popped his head out to squeals of laughter from the audience revealing his 6′4” frame. After miming for the crowd, performing tricks with his dogs and skunk, the circus tent grew dark and a blue/white spotlight focused on Bobo. He pulled out his cornet and played one of his two signature songs, “Peg of My Heart” or “Am I Blue”.
